1942 SHOW TIME Program George Jessel Jack Haley Con Colleano from Ringling Bros
Here is a vintage souvenir program for SHOW TIME, a vaudeville revival by writer and producer, Fred R. Finklehoffe. The show featured: George Jessel, Jack Haley, Con Colleano (the man on the flying trapeze who was a "center ring act" with Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey for 12 years), Tony & Sally DeMarco (dancers), Ella Logan (Finklehoffe's wife of several years), Lucille Norman, Bob Williams & his dog Red, Ralph Olsen & Lynn Shirley (dancers), Sarah Ann McCabe (singer), The Berry Brothers (dancing trio... soft shoe, tap, acrobatic, eccentric... performed in a group of Our Gang comedies when they were kids). Began in San Diego, moved to LA, then San Francisco before heading to New York's Broadhurst Theatre. Ran from September 16, 1942 through April 3, 1943 with 342 performances.
The program measures 11" x 8.5". Blue and white. 16 pages including cover. Heavy stock. Lots of photos and information about performers. Some light wrinkling at seam edge, corners of front cover. A few little bits of surface paper worn in spots. Very good condition otherwise.
