Christmas Place Markers Set of 8 Porcelain in Original Box 1950's Vintage Japan

Here is a vintage (circa 1940's-1950's) set of 8 Christmas place markers in their original box decorated with poinsettias and holly and a paper picture label on the top that reads: Christmas Card Place Settings A Commodore Original No. 2010 8 Pcs Set Made in Japan. There is an assortment of what appear to be Santa Claus figures, snowmen, angels, elves and children... all different. Each measures about 1-3/4" high. Each has a slit in back for the name tag or card. They are nested in their own compartments with clear "grass" (the type used in Easter baskets). They are in excellent condition. Purchased from an estate sale.
