Salem NJ Grant Mansion Historical Plate 1955 Limited Ed

This 1955 limited edition historical plate depicts a mansion on Market Street in Salem, New Jersey, built by Alexander Grant in 1772. There is a short history of the building on the back. The picture is from a drawing by Betty L. Heiges. The plate is 10-1/8" with swirled edge. It was fired by L. Elkinton Larzelere, Pineville-in-Bucks County, Pa. There is a scratch about 1" long just above the roof which isn't real noticeable. It is in excellent condition otherwise with no chips, cracks or repairs. Purchased from an estate sale.
