Montreal 7 Souvenir EXPO 67 Book Map Germany Russia Montreal Mag

Here are 7 souvenirs from Expo 67, the World's Fair held in Montreal, Canada. All were purchased from the same estate sale. All are in very good condition with exceptions, if any, noted next to each. They are as follows:

  • Official Souvenir Map - a booklet with 6 different maps, some fold out to 2, 3, or 4 pages long. 11.25" x 8.75" when folded. Largest map opens to about 32" long. Slight straight line creasing on cover edge as maps inside are about 1/2" shorter than the cover.
  • The Soviet Union, the Soviet Pavilion, the Soviet Character (the shortest guide book to the USSR) - 6 page, 2 sided folder brochure, 9.5" x 4.25" when folded, opens to 6 times that size when opened.
  • German Pavillion - 2 page folder, 9" x 4" when closed, twice that when open.
  • Kaleideocope - 2 page folder about the Kaleidoscope presentation, an unfolding panorama of colors complemented by exciting sounds, created by Toronto industrial designer Morley Markson, working with the Institute of Design, University of Waterloo, Ontario. Pictures and list of sponsors on the back. 9" x 4" when closed, opens to twice that when open.
  • Montreal Magazine January 1967 is almost entirely devoted to Expo 67 with great photos of various pavillions from many countries. Magazine is 31 pages long. 11" x 9"
  • Montreal Magazine April 1966 has 2 articles about aluminum and the buildings, pavillions, that will be made of that metal... and Alcan, Canada's major aluminum company. 7 pages with great photos. One article is in English, one is in French. Magazine is 31 pages. 11" x 9". There are several small tears in the middle of these pages, nothing missing, but like something poked into it and made a break. No info is compromised.
  • Montreal Magazine May 1966 has 2 articles about Expo... One is called creativity, u.s. style. It's written in English about the US pavillion, the giant transparent bubble designed by Buckminster Fuller. The other article, also about the US pavillion: les etats-unis a l'expo '67, is written in French. These articles consist of 4 pages with pictures of the drawing of the design and model for this structure. Magazine is 31 pages. 11" x 9"
