Outdoor Girl Rare Perfume Bottle 1928-32 Original Foil Label USA Vintage 2-5/8"
Here is a vintage Outdoor Girl perfume bottle with most of the original paper foil label. Powder boxes from this company are prevalent but the bottles are hard to find.
Label reads: Outdoor Girl Noon Made In USA.
A raised image of their iconic windswept lady golfer logo appears in the upper potion of the label above the perfume name. It is hard to see immediately but if you know what you are looking for, you will see her.
Bottle is empty and in excellent condition.
Red screw cap made of a vintage plastic.
Bottle measures 2-5/8" high, 3/4" wide, and 1/2" deep.
The Outdoor Girl line of cosmetics was introduced in 1928 by the Crystal Chemical Company which was founded by pharmacist Myram Picker along with his wife Edna Krystal in 1912, in his drugstore in the Bronx. The company name was changed to The Crystal Company in 1931.
I purchased this bottle from an estate sale over 35 years ago. It has been in my collection since then.
