PictureBelgium, Art Pottery Vintage Pitcher Flammand Belgium Crystaline

Beautiful art pottery pitcher is marked on underside: 06/11 Flamand Belgium JWCo (or JVVCo depending on your interpretation). It has a wonderful runny studio pottery type of glaze... which could be wood fired or fired with ash and it seems to be developing a bit of crystaline structure in the glaze. It has an Art Nouveau feel to it with the branch-like handle going down into raised root designs around the lower portion. There are some older Royal Doulton jugs that are glazed in a similar manner. This pot is just great! 6.5" high at handle tip. 4" diameter at widest point. In excellent condition.

PictureCrackle Glass 2 Hand Blown Crackle Glass Pitchers Ruby Amberina 1960s

Here are 2 hand blown crackle glass creamer sized pitchers from the 1960's with applied handles and rough pontil marks. The pitcher with the closed neck (3.75" tall) is ruby red with a yellow handle. The open neck one (3.5" tall) has an amberina pattern starting with light orange at the bottom turning to red at the top with a yellow handle. They were probably made by Viking or Pilgrim, both companies being known for this type of glassware. They are both in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Purchased from an estate sale.

PictureCreamer- Individual Creamer Pitcher Blue White Castle Old Transferware

Unusual little individual cream pitcher is vintage blue and white transferware. It is signed but I can't decipher the words on the base. Wonderful flower-like trees, people, and Oriental or Moorish castle pagoda or tower buildings including one on the base... reminiscent of Xanadu and Kubla Kahn. Just shy of 2" tall. In very good condition, No chips, cracks or repairs. Purchased from an estate sale.

PictureFENTON Large GLASS Ribbed Iced Tea PITCHER Applied Handle

Big beautiful Fenton Glass iced tea pitcher has an interior ribbed design and an applied ridged handle. It is blue gray in color and is signed on the underside. It holds 60 ounces... almost 2 quarts. When held to a bright light, I can see a partial horizontal stain line as if an acidic beverage sat in it too long... but it is very light and I don't see it when just sitting on my table. Wanted to mention it though since you can't see it in person and I don't think it will show up in the photos. 10-1/4" high. In very good condition with no chips, flakes or cracks.

PictureFlorentine 2 Poppy Hazel Atlas Pitcher Depression Glass

This depression glass pitcher was made between 1932 and 1935 by Hazel Atlas in their Florentine No 2 pattern, also called Poppy No 2. It stands 7.5" high. There is a rough feeling spot at the outer point of the elbow in the handle. It coincides with the seam line at that spot. It may be a tiny flake or a rough area in the seam... I can't really be sure. It's in excellent condition otherwise... no chips, cracks or repairs. Purchased from an estate sale.

This is an original piece in one of the original colors produced by Hazel Atlas. The measurements of mold line at the spout and width of handle are consistent with the original. According to my Depression Glass book by Gene Florence book, the reproductions of this pitcher were made in red, dark green and 2 shades of pink... colors that were never made by Hazel Atlas.

PictureIce Lip Pitcher 2 Qt Mid Century 1950's Danish Modern

Here's a great looking ice lip pitcher. It is an artistically modern design that would go great with mid century and Danish modern interiors. I noticed it because it reminded me of some of the beautiful lines in the designs of Eva Zeisel. We don't know who designed it... there are no identifying marks on the base. It's 11.75" high and 6" in diameter at the base. The large handle is comfortable to hold with good leverage for pouring. It has an ice lip. It holds 2 quarts with room to spare and is in excellent condition... no chips, cracks, repairs, or stains. Great for iced tea, sangria, etc. Purchased from an estate sale.

PictureIce Lip Vintage Pink Hotel China Ice Lip Ball Pitcher Keystone

Vintage (circa 1940's) pink ball pitcher has an ice lip so you can pour iced tea or punch without plopping ice into the glasses. There is a faint, impressed keystone mark on the base (really hard to see)... possibly an early Pfaltzgraf piece. White hotel china type clay body. Short drying crack on bottom interior occured during the manufacturing and does not go through to the outside. Some staining on unglazed underside. Tiny pin hole in glaze top of handle near neck. 7.25" high. 8.75" wide spout to handle. 7.25" diameter at the belly. In very good condition with exceptions noted. From an estate sale.

PictureMajolica Stoneware Toby Style Jug Pitcher Kitchenware

Here's a large stoneware Toby style pitcher with a majolica glaze in colors normally associated with Chinese pottery made in the Tang Dynasty. Although we bought it from an estate sale about 10 years ago, I believe it was probably made sometime in the last 20 years. It's 8.25" high and in extremely good condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. The interior is mostly unglazed. Being stoneware, a fully vitrified clay body, it should be able to hold liquid and not leak even without a glaze. I left it filled with water overnight to be certain and it does not leak. I think the previous owner used it as a vase as it had a lot of leaf debris in the bottom when I bought it. I've washed it, but you might want to run it through the dishwasher if you plan to serve with it. I've had it stored away for a long time.

Impressed hand written mark: D.K. 1980. 2-3/8" high. 4 dark dots in glaze at foot rim occurred during the manufacturing. PictureRed Wing Pottery Bob White 1966 Tall Ice Lip Pitcher 14"

This tall pitcher was made by Red Wing Pottery in their most popular pattern called Bob White. All of Red Wing's dinnerware patterns were hand painted. Bob White was introduced in 1966, but the vast number of cheaper imported dishes in the aftermath of World War II, finally forced them out of business. Even this popular pattern couldn't save them and they closed their doors in 1967. It's 14-1/8" high and 6" diameter at the belly. Ice lip. Large comfortable handle. Red Wing called it a water pitcher but it would be great for ice tea and sangria. Marked on base: RED WING U.S.A. It's in very good condition... no chips, cracks, or repairs. Purchased from an estate sale.18s14

PictureRutland VT Souvenir Pitcher Creamer Ruby Stain Rutland VT Railroad

This individual sized creamer pitcher is pressed glass with ruby stain hand etched or engraved: Rutland. It is probably a souvenir of Rutland, Vermont, possibly Rutland Railroad. 2-5/8" high. One tiny tip on one of the bottom bumps is chipped. It's almost impossible to see without a magnifier, but it feels rougher there. In very good condition otherwise.

PictureSlag Glass Orange Agate Mini Pitcher Thumbprint Vintage

Miniture creamer pitcher is orange, white, and yellow swirled agate slag glass with a repeated overall thumbprint pattern and scalloped rim and handle. The surface of the glass has a matt finish. It's 3.5" high. The previous owner apparently used it as a flower vase. There are a few spots of white calcium deposits from their water... in dips at rim and on outer top both sides near rim. I've been able to clean a lot of it off with no detriment to the glass. With a little persistance or some CLR you may be able to remove the rest. It's not too bad and may not show up in the photos... but I wanted you to know since you can't see it in person. Purchased from an estate sale.
