Large 2-Tone Yellow Bakelite 4+" Geometric Pin measures 4-1/4" long and 1-1/2" at the widest point. The paler yellow top is carved and shaped. The bottom portion is a slightly curved V in a darker varigated butterscotch color. It's in very good condition. This pin is old store stock and has never been used. It was rescued along with the belt buckles from the basement of a dress shop in New York City when the building was demolished in the early 80's to make way for new construction.

This pretty 1940's vintage pin and earring set has a ribbon and flower theme. Gold colored metal with blue rhinestones. The earrings are screw backs with dangling ribbon parts on the earrings. They have no maker's marks or information about metal content. They could possibly have a gold wash as the smooth surfaces shined up nicely with a rouge cloth. All rhinestones are prong set. The ribbon pin has a 2" diameter. The earrings measure 1.25" from top of flower to bottom of dangle. They are in very good condition. Purchased from an estate sale over 20 years ago.

Here are 2 vintage hand carved bone ivory jewels. One is a pair of rose flower earrings (screwbacks circa 1940's-50's). The roses measure 7/8" diameter. Wonderful enameled rectangular brooch is probably from the late 1800's or early part of the 20th century. It's big: 2.25" x 1.5" Old fashioned style C hook clasp with no safety latch. Thick pin shaft. Blue flowers, green leaves on white ground. The metal is very black and it might be silver. Enamel was usually done on silver but there are no markings. From an estate sale. Here are two 1940's era pins with red and crystal clear rhinestones. Both were purchased about 30 years ago from estate sales.

• Large floral spray with ribbon is 3.5" high x 3.25" wide. Gold color finish on metal has darkened over the years and has a bluish tint. There are some tiny dots of oxidation.
• Starburst with curlycues and dangling chain ribbons is 2-7/8" high x 1.75" wide. It also has a loop in the back so it could be worn as a pendant. Loss of gold color finish in the front where it looks mostly silvery in color.

Bright shiny golden leaf pin has transparent emerald green & yellow enamel over intricate ribbon line designs with a faux pearl set in the center. Wonderful Victorian mourning brooch is a glass flower made up of various faceted sections, wired and mounted on metal with worn black papered backing as is typical of early Czech jewelry. Early style C clasp. 1.75" diameter. There are a couple of tiny flakes on outside edge that aren't very noticeable unless you're looking for them. Wonderful modernist leaf with berries pin is signed: Mexico 925 TS-14. T stands for Taxco, S is the first initial of the artist's name, 14 means this was the 14th silversmith to register in the city of Taxco with that initial, and 925 is the silver purity mark. Another mark above these is only partially struck and not decipherable. Just shy of 3" long. Safety clasp pin back. Center vein has been artist blackened with liver of sulphur patina to accent and show off the berries. Very shiny and great looking! In excellent condition. Purchased from an estate sale.

Here's a large unusual vintage Victorian pin made in the same style as the more common brass and amethyst pieces, but this one is dark steel gray, almost black with 4 blue bezel set "stones" (probably glass). 3" x 2". Here is a vintage goldtone and green palm tree pin and a somewhat newer pair of enameled earrings with the same theme. They may have been souvenirs of a vacation trip to a tropical or island paradise, Hawaii or Florida. Both were purchased from different estate sales. The pin is 2.5" x 1-7/8". It has a safety clasp pin back and is in extremely good condition. The earrings are for pierced ears with French hook wires. Transparent green and gold enamel lets the designs underneath show through. The tree alone is 1-3/8" long. They're in extremely good condition also.
