This is an early Bolex 16mm H-16 movie camera. The camera's serial number 20714 dates this unit at an early vintage of 1944. The camera has an external film footage counter with an included crank. The three lenses mounted on the rotating turret are Wollensaks: 17mm, 1 inch, and 3 inch. The tri-focal viewfinders three settings are 15, 25, and 75. A fourth lens included with this auction is a 3 inch telephoto Elitar Loligor c mount with both end covers. The spring is still strong and everything seems in working order, but I haven't run any film through it. I've done a surface cleaning, but a more through cleaning is needed. When I remove a lens I can see white oxidation on the rotary shutter, which doesn't impede the movement.

Vintage Arcadia Illuminated Stereo Viewer comes in it's original box with instruction sheet. Color is 2-tone: beige and rust brown. Shape would be considered modern and streamlined for its time. Box advertises "Pocket Size - Self-light" It's 4.5" x 4.25 x 1-5/8". Features: focus adjustment; interocular adjustment; lights automatically when slide is pressed into slot. It was in working order when last we used it. Light bulb is still in it but there are no batteries. We never left them inside and the battery compartment is very clean. The Bools cine fade is designed to be added to a movie camera lens to create scene transitions. The movement is mechanized by a loaded spring that is engaged by a lever switch. Engagement when the Bools is closed will give you a fade in and when open will give you a fade out. There are 4 different shaped shutter fades. The Bools is marked: Made in Switzerland. It comes with an added attachment adapter which allows it to fit other lenses and holds the fader further away from the end of the lens.

Twin Tracks Bellows Scope for NIKON by PRO (Photographic Research Org. Inc.) comes in original box with instructions that include close-up data charts for 50mm, 105mm and 135mm (short barrel) lenses. 5-1/2" long X 3-1/4" high. Scale on side. Open/lock knob on left, Focus knob on right. Turns easily. Works smoothly. Looks as if it was rarely used. Kept in plastic bag with desiccant. Bellows is in excellent condition as is the entire piece. Box is 6-1/2" X 4" square. Box is a bit worn on edges and one side.

Here's an unsual vintage optical/medical item which was probably intended for use in schools. The Keystone Eye Comfort and Depth Perception Series consists of: an antique Keystone Stereopticon, or stereo viewer; 12 stereo view cards; an information booklet; and 9 patient cards that read: Keystone CorrectEYEgraph Corrective Recreation For Developing Eye Comfort and Coordination Dr. H.E. Pine Technic, each one with a different cartoon-like drawing probably for each child to identify their own card. These are marked with a 1932 copyright date. The stero view cards have different information on the back of each pertaining to vision correction. The booklet and patient cards are made of an inexpensive paper and have become brittle over the years. They have also yellowed or darkened with time. The booklet has some bug damage. The viewer is in excellent condition and appears to have been rarely used. The views are also in excellent condition. Purchased from an estate sale.

• Logan Lighted Power Viewer for 35 mm 2 x 2 slides. Battery Powered. Logan Specialty Mfg Co. Chicago. Gray and white marbled plastic. Instruction folder is slightly wrinkled. A couple of spots on inside of lens. I haven't tried to clean it. Slight wear box edges. Small piece of tape on box and original price sticker. This used Pentax is nice, clean, and in working order. The included telephoto lens is a MC Cosmicar zoom 1:3.5-4.5 and 28mm to 80mm with lens cover. The two AA cell batteries operate the camera now, but I don't know how much longer they with last. Also included with this auction is a Pentax AF200S flash with case which has been tested and is working but with no batteries included plus a Pentax strap, a cable release, and a wide angle collapsible hood.

Vintage Paterson Illuminated Pocket Viewer for 7 x 7 slides is in the original blue box which states the previous info and the fact that it was made in England. Burgundy plastic case with ivory trim. Magnifying glass flips up when box is opened. Slide is viewed professional style on glass light box bed. Interior is clean and looks to be rarely used. Underside of burgundy box has some rub marks which might be from use or storage. In very good visual condition. Untested by us. Box is 1.5" x 3.5" x 5.25". Viewer is smaller. Here are 2 vintage camera viewfinders purchased from the same estate sale as the photography books we're offering today so they may be from the same era, 1950's. Both were made in Germany. The black & silver one was made by Prasisai. The all silver one was made by Midis. Prasisai measures 2-7/16" long. The shoe measures 16mm at top of plate (front to back). The Midis measures 2.5" long. The shoe measures 16mm at top of plate (front to back). A little gray mark on the surface of this one but they both appear to be in very good condition.12s4
