4 Semi-Nude Tinted Real Photo Postcards Vintage EroticaHere are 4 real photo tinted postcards of a semi-nude dancing girl. We purchased them in this frame from an antique store many years ago. We've taken them out of the frame to photograph details, marks, etc. A circle mark at bottom left reads: Photobrom (photo bromine) 1907 Wein (Wine) VII. 1907 marks the beginning of the divided back era. Yellow & silver tinting has been publisher added to enhance the image on top of photographic details in the bands of lace and jewelry, red to enhance the belt. A red semi-blouse and band at hips has been publisher added to obscure the breasts and pubic area. Some crackling to emulsion at corners. Tape marks where they have been taped onto the matt board. Some changes in color/surface at edges where they have been covered by the matt. A nicely displayed postcard series of antique erotica.

Boardwalk Seashore Fishing Vintage Photo Man w Big Fish Here is a vintage photo of a young man in a suit and tie with vest, watch chain, and newsboy cap holding 2 giant fish aloft. The fish might be a flounder or fluke, and maybe a sea bass. It appears to be taken at the shore, on a boardwalk in front of a commercial establishment offering rooms for rent, etc. May be the Jersey shore. Photo was purchased from an estate sale here in southern NJ. Photo is 3.75" x 4.75". Card is 6.5" x 5.5". Card stock is coming unglued from back of photo. There are some white spots in the print that have been colored in gray probably by the photographer. The most motceable is at man's left elbow. I looked at it through a loupe to see what it was and then saw the other tinier dots that have been remedied in the same way. It's still a neat looking photo of another time, probably early 1900's.

Bride & Groom 6 items in lot Wedding Real Photo Postcards 1900-1940Here are 6 wedding postcards, all real photographs. They appear to be from the Victorian era through the 1940's. Five of them show bride and groom; 1 shows just the bride with 2 maids of honor. This one has several bends and creases. It was photographed in Harrisburg, Pa. In another from the same studio, the bride appears to be a sister of the women in the first photo. This also has some creases, stained bottom left corner, bit of paper missing in crease at lower right side. Three of the remaining 4 were taken in Hamburg, Germany. The 6th one has no identifying place name; this one has a photo album corner stuck to the back of it. All have divided backs... 3 have grayed a little on the back, one has some smudges. A neat grouping if you collect brides & grooms or wedding cake toppers. Great to see the vintage fashions.

Camden Old Photo Camden NJ Tumbling Team Costumed Acrobat 8x10Here is one of a group of large format old photographs we purchased from an estate sale here in Southern New Jersey many years ago. This one shows a costumed team of 4 men from Camden, New Jersey, probably with their manager and coach. The 4 have fancy costumes and are wearing shirts that say Camden; one holds a sign that reads CAMDEN inside a white cross. Maybe they are a team of tumblers or acrobats. The only information is on the back of the heavy cardboard on which the photo is mounted... W. N. Jennings Everything in Photography 1321 Arch Street Philadelphia. The photo measures 7.75" x 9-5/8". It's mounted on a heavy gray cardboard background (approximately 11" x 14") which is worn and bent at the corners. There are 2 tiny marks on the photo... a dark pin point dot near the manager's right knee and a pin head sized rough spot or indent in surface on the manager's left elbow. The photo is in very good condition otherwise.

The photo is 9-5/8" x 13.5" It is mounted on heavy cardboard which is 13-7/8" x 16-7/8". The photo is dirty which can be seen in the white areas. Nude- Pocket Mirror Nude Naughty Pin-Up Photo 1950'sVintage pocket mirror with nude picture of a beauty in negligee with parasol is probably circa 1950's. This type of mirror was made in the same way as vintage pin back buttons, but with a mirror in place of the pinback. When looking through a magnifier, there is no dot pattern so I would assume that it's a photograph. An overall pattern of crackles can also be seen through the loupe consistant with those that often occur in the emulsion of a glossy photo after time and exposure to heat, etc., but still looks very good. The mirror shows light aging but is basically in very good condition. 3" x 2". We purchased this item many years ago at an estate sale. A little treasure for your pin-up collection! Originals do not have the eBay logo blocking the risque areas as seen here. See our other auctions for similar pocket mirrors that have been in our collection and other pin-up items.

Parkinson CUPID ASLEEP Huge Photo Print 1897 Oval FrameHuge antique photo print entitled "Cupid Asleep" by M.B. Parkinson is copyrighted 1897. It is titled, copyrighted and signed in white hand written lettering at the bottom of the print... the white probably indicating that it was done on the glass negative. [We're guessing Parkinson may have been left handed due to the direction of the slant of the lettering. Possibly Cupid was left handed too as he's holding the bow in his right hand... which would normally hold the arrow if he were right handed ;-)] Print measures 19.5" high x 15.5" wide. Old oval wooden frame measures 25.25" long x 21.5" wide. There is a large piece of flat glass in the frame. The print has some dark marks at bottom right edge near Cupid's elbow and just under the string in the bow about the middle of his chest. There is some light, wavy lined water damage at the edge from about the 9 o'clock position to the 11 o'clock position which is about the same color as other parts of the print and so blends in a bit. All else is in good condition. The frame is wood that has been gessoed and then painted with a faux wood grain on the outside and black on the inner ring. There is wear to the faux finish and some crackling to the gesso, mostly on the inner edge. All could be refinished and repaired as there is no damage to the wood underneath. Remnants of paper covering can be seen on back along with water damage. Original nails holding cardboard backing. Wire for hanging is still attached. From an estate sale.

Press Release 1960s Vintage Photo US18 Sailboat & Blimp461 Eighth Avenue, New York City. Photo is a sailboat, 8 US18 marked on the sail, with a blimp hovering close by. First 2 letters I can see on the blimp are GO (probably Goodyear). Back of photo is stamped with Acme info plus remnant of paper which would have had the story or caption to be included with the picture, but it is missing. We purchased a large group of press photos from the sixties about 20 years ago... most were from the New York, Philadelphia area, and included news photos from the Kennedy, Johnson, Kruschev era. This photo is 8.75" x 6-5/8". The upper corners are missing; left corner also has creases, cracks, and a tear. School- 1901 Photo 5th Grade Parkville Conn CT Park Ave School100+ year old photograph was taken of the fifth grade at the new Park Avenue School in Parkville, Connecticut, in 1901. Notations in ink at bottom of photo and penciled information on back. Back also reads: 10 years old, 5th grade, I'm in third row second seat... but it gives no names. 4.25" x 6.5" Photo was in a frame too large for it when I purchased it from an estate sale. After removing it from the frame, I can see that it has been torn from a scrapbook page... there are remnants of paper adhering to the back. Upper left corner is folded over. There are 6 vertical folds, creases and/or wrinkles across top area of photo. Background upper area is underexposed and pale. Pencil point dig in middle of blackboard. Lower area with children is in better conditition that upper. Still a neat photo. Interesting to see the old clothing and the tall laced boots on the 2 children whose feet show. Details show up pretty good through a loupe.

Victorian Photo-Medieval Costume Group King Queen ArmorThis is just a fun photograph! Probably the actors in a play... an early costumer with medieval king & queen wearing royal robes and jeweled ornaments, princesses, knights in armor or mail (or just silvery material) and holding spears. Looks like bear fur on the floor with a large lacey tapestry (or tablecloth) on the wall. Mounted on board as was typical of photos taken in the Victorian era through the early 1900's. Photo is 7.5" x 9.5". Board is 10" x 12". Board is dirty, bent and water stained at top. Photo is light around the outer edges. A few digs to paper surface at the 3 o'clock position near edge working inward there are some on the lace, and a few abrasions continuing in that line between the oldest princess and the king. Interesting to look at. Perfect to add to your collection of "instant ancestors"... the stories you could tell... "I remember when my great-great-great-grandfather, the King... etc. etc. etc."

Wirephoto 1958 AP USSR Khrushchev w Tito in YugoslaviaVintage wirephoto from the Associated Press shows Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev in black miner's uniform with gold buttons & crossed-picks emblem while delivering a speech at the mining center of Velenje, Yugoslavia. (Khrushchev was a former machine repairman in the mines.) He is accompanied by Yugoslavian President Tito. Back of photo is stamped with publication date by the Philadelphia Inquirer. Year is difficult to decifer... it looks like 1988 but since Khrushchev died in 1971 and Tito in 1980, that isn't possible. More likely it is 1955, 56 or 58, all years, according to online research, that the 2 leaders met. Caption glued on back was cut from newspaper. Photo shows orange crop lines. Page measures 8.5" x 8". Photo area is 8" x 6.5" Cropped (to be printed) area is 7-7/8" x 5-7/16". This one is easier to identify with the bare eye as a wirephoto... you can see that the outlines of shapes are not as crisp. And when you look through a magnifier, you can see the fine lines that are proof of the wirephoto process. Three corners have short creases. A few short cracks in surface emulsion may not show up in our photos... there are about 10... all in clothing/hat areas, none in the faces. In good condition otherwise. We purchased this photo many years ago in a large group from an estate sale. It included both original photos and wirephotos. All that were marked had been sent to the Inquirer.
