Cut Perfume Bottle Cut Glass Crystal 1940's Vintage Vanity

This pretty 1940's vintage glass perfume bottle is 8 sided with a hand cut starburst and ball design repeated in each of the 8 panels. When you look through it, the heavy faceted sides make a series of reflections and/or optical illusions along with the cut patterns that you can see from the front and back. It looks neat! It's 5" high. The base has been ground but not perfectly flat or even so I don't know if that was an old repair or just how it was made. There is no atomizer ball but they are much easier to find now than they were 20 years ago when I bought this bottle. The lid is firmly attached to the bottle as it should be. The center of it unscrews and lifts out along with the atomizer top and metal tube that goes into the bottle. This is how you fill it. You probably know that but I've seen bottle tops destroyed by people using pliers to try to get the top off when it isn't supposed to come off. It's really in pretty good condition but there are 2 miniscule flea bites on side edges and very pale white marks inside at the bottom. The base has about 7 very tiny flea bites (pinhead size or smaller) and one a bit larger at 1/16". It still looks good and would be very pretty on your dresser or in a collection of vanity bottles.
