Ideal 16" TONI DOLL P-91 Hard Plastic-Sleep Eyes-1950's

Early 1950's hard plastic TONI DOLL is 16" tall and is marked on back of neck: IDEAL P-91. She was mine when I was a kid. She was played with by my younger siblings after I lost interest in dolls and has been sleeping in a drawer of my Mother's china closet since about 1962. Her platinum blonde wig is original although I did cut it in the front to give her bangs like my sister's. (If it wasn't a Toni doll... made for giving permanents and hair styling... no kid in their right mind... in those days... would have thought about cutting their dolls hair... although I cut my sister's hair too and my Mother was not pleased! I did the same uneven job on both of them :-) Her eyebrows are worn. She no longer has the original plaid dress she came with, but an outfit my Mother made for her (long dress and bonnet) which has browned with age. I haven't tried to wash it. She still has red and white striped socks, one plastic shoe (I think her originals were cloth), and a pair of undies with an N on it?? I don't remember those. Her blue sleep eyes are in good condition as is her face and fingers. Interior rubber bands must be stretching as her limbs seem to be a bit loose... not hanging out of sockets, but they move very easily. There are gray marks around tops of legs and on neck which appears to be paint wear from the rubbing movement. There is also damage to the finish on her back where someone left a strip of tape and never removed the adhesive. She needs someone who will love her and give her a good home and some pretty new clothes.
