There are 224 pages with 140 in full color... works listed on the cover by: Manet, Ingres, Daumier, Watteau, Rowlandson, Fragonard, Courbet, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, Renoir, Picasso, Magritte, Fini, Dali, Grosz, Schiele, Wesselmann, Rivers, Warhol, de Andrea, Segal, and others. Includes: Index; Bibliography; and List of Works organized by century and country, giving artist's name, date of birth/death, title, medium, and where the work is now located (as of 1974). The book is hard cover with dust jacket. White (or very light gray) cloth boards. Dust jacket is not price clipped: it has the original price $19.95 until Dec. 31, 1974... then $24.95 after that. I have acquired a 2nd copy of this book from an estate sale, a newer edition that sold for $34.95, so we're willing to part with this earliest version. 12.25" x 9". Dust jacket has light wear and a few short tears on edges. The book is in extremely good condition.
