2 NOS Sun Beam Ruby Glass Stop Lamp Lens 1939 Chevrolet

Here are 2 vintage tail lamp car lenses. They are old stock purchased from an estate sale. The boxes are the same but the lenses have differences although both are shaped the same and would fit the same vehicle.

• Boxes read: SUN BEAM Reflecting Type Ruby Glass Stop and Tail Lamp LENS for Chevrolet 1939, Pontiac 6 & 8 Cyl. 1939, Oldsmobile 6 Cyl. 1937-38, Oldsmobile 8 Cyl. 1938. Made in U.S.A. No. P 110.
• One lens is definitely ruby glass. It is the darker of the 2 and is marked in center of the lens: K-D Triflex Coulite A No. 275 and around the back flange with the following patent numbers: 1591572, 1671086, 1743834, 1807530, 1874138, and 1906655. (years 1926, 1928, 1930, 1931, 1932, and 1933) 2.5" diameter.
• The 2nd lens is lighter and more orangish in color. The pattern of stars is less dense. There are no markings in the glass. It is also 2.5" in diameter with the same notches for mounting as the other.
