Hall Enterprise Drip-O-Lator Coffee Pot Ribbon of Stars

Here is rare Drip-O-Lator coffee pot made for the Enterprise Aluminum Company by Hall China. The spherical shape is similar to the Star teapot made by Hall but this pot has a large pedestal along with the handle and lid being different. It is all white with an indented blue banner filled with white stars. It is marked on the underside: The Enterprise Aluminum Co. Superior Quality Kitchen Ware DRIP-O-LATOR Trade Mark Ref. U.S. Pat. Off. Patent Nos. 1370782-173925. Research shows that all coffee pots made for Enterprise by companies other than Hall are marked with that company's name. Coffee pots unmarked with company name were made by Hall. Marked inside bottom: For piping hot coffee preheat with hot water. Do not place over open flame. The pot measures 7-3/8" high; 6.75" in diameter; and 10.5" spout to handle.

This pot does not have the aluminum dripper. There are a couple of manufacturing flaws... an extra lump of clay which has been glazed over is stuck to the inside wall; a couple of pin head sized dots of blue glaze outside of the ribbon area under the handle; and a rough spot on edge of lid where the molten glaze stuck to something while in the kiln... the company broke it loose but did not grind it smooth. It feels rough but isn't very noticeable when sitting in place. There is no post firing damage... no chips, cracks, stains or repairs incurred by previous owner. It is in very good condition. Purchased from an estate sale. 60s11.99
