Harlequin w Moon Vintage Artist Signed Etching Germany

Wonderful original hand colored etching of a whimsical harlequin clown playing a concertina for the man in the moon is signed by the German artist who created it. Two paper labels on the back. One says where it was purchased: Martin's Book & Gift Shop 255 W 231st Street, New York, Old style phone number: Tel. KI-6-4444. Documentation reads: Original Etching. Signed by the Artist. Hand-Printing from the Copper Plate. Handcoloured. Made in Germany. Everything but the artist's name which is difficult to decipher. Maybe you'll be able to figure it out from the photos. Plate size is 3.5" x 5.25". You can see the impressed plate outline around the picture. Frame size is 8.25" x 10.5". A couple of dots of browing on the paper border. In very good condition.
