Here is a huge vintage satin vaseline glass bowl. It measures 10.75" diameter at the rim and 4-7/16" high. The rim is scallop toothed. Three big medallions with hobstar whirligigs ornament the sides and also one in the base. It glows in black light and is quite majestic in any light. There is an irregular spot in the foot that may be an interior air pocket or crack. There is nothing that can be felt on the surface... it just looks different there... a little lighter in color with a possible inclusion. There is a miniscule flake on one of the whirligig arms. Two of the scallops have a pin head sized abraision on the surface that looks white. These were not noticeable until I examined it carefully under a very bright light. It's in very good condition... no chips, cracks or repairs. I purchased it from the estate of an elderly woman who told me it had belonged to her mother since the 1940's. I don't know the maker.

Here's a great looking 60's vintage modern art glass vase. It has undulating wavy sides with an amoeba shape when looking at it from the top view. Textured olive green walls floating over a clear base. The indented bottom has concentric rings. 5-3/8" high. 5.5" x 3-5/8". Great looking Art Deco style black glass trinket tray portrays the face of a flapper girl with short bobbed hair in the style of the day. 6" long x 3.5" wide. Small (1/8") flake on edge of face, right side, lower cheek. When held sideways to light you can see some lighter areas in glass surface, mostly on right cheek, which suggests it may have been used as a soap dish and has reacted to something in the soap. Wonderful handblown cranberry art glass fish is hollow with ground mouth opening. Black eyes are applied as are the clear glass fins, tail and backbone. The upper fin continues along the backbone down to the tail which encases the cranberry glass of the body at the bottom section. Dramatic in both color and size which is approximately 20-1/2" long and 7-1/2" high. Glass is all clear except for the eyes which are opaque. Small group of bubbles in tail. Here is a 1950's-60's vintage heavy art glass ball ashtray with controlled bubbles included in the purple glass. It has a ground and polished base and an adjacent ground and polished circle that lines up opposite the opening which can be seen through the opening. It measures 4.25" high x 4-3/8" in diameter. Opening is 1-7/8". There are some surface scratches and a line from water being inside that indicates it may have been used as a vase by a previous owner. These are not real noticeable because of the thick glass and all the little bubbles. Tiny flake at edge of base has also been polished smooth so it may have occurred during the making. There is also one thin curved line of bluish white glass in the purple. Purchased from an estate sale.

Wonderful hand blown art glass vase has a lavender blue interior cased with a clear layer that's imbedded with tiny specks of blue, purple, lavender, magenta, pink and white... giving it the magical look of an impressionistic, pointilistic painting of light on water or fireworks. A single thin line of yellow-green begins at the pontil mark on the bottom and spirals upwards until it circles in a thicker band around the rim. 8" high x 4" in diameter. Wonderful vintage crackle glass vase is melon shaped and slightly ribbed all around. Controlled crackles are farther apart at the bottom, getting finer and closer together as they go up, and stopping near the base of the neck. The crackles almost seem to be controlled or contained by the vertical ribbing. There is no pontil mark so it was probably blown into a mold. 10.5" high. 7.75" diameter at belly. Here's a great looking piece of vintage art glass from the craftsmen at Blenko... a large lucious purple glass strawberry with applied green glass cap and stem. Most of the original BLENKO HANDMADE sticker is still stuck to the berry. It's hollow and quite heavy. It's about 5.5" long x 4.5" at the widest. It had a lot of shelf dirt on it when we purchased it from an estate sale recently. I've cleaned it carefully but there may still be a little bit of dust in the indented dimples. Here are 3 vintage blown glass bull's eye discs for stained glass or other crafted art objects.

One is 4" diameter with indented rings in amberina range of colors... darker in center going from red-orange, to orange with a yellow outer ring. It has a 1" long rough spot along first ridge past the yellow edge and 3 dark spots contained within the glass itself which occurred during the making.

The other 2 are 1.5" in diameter and are close to being a matched pair although, being handmade, they are different. The designs of white sawtooth lines separating wheels of blue, yellow, red, and green are the same, just a bit different in widths. They'd make a great pair of earrings. They're in excellent condition.

All have been in my collection of great stuff to incorporate into works of art someday... but I seem to have more stuff and less "somedays" so I'm slowly relinquising some of my holdings in the hopes that you will turn them into gold!

Vintage carnival glass wall pocket is a peachy apricot color with irridescent areas that shimmer with pink magenta and a hint of turquoise mostly at the rim depending on the light. This wonderful faceted crystal ball came from an antique chandelier. It's 1-3/8" in diameter and hangs below a faceted octagonal crystal gem making the total length 2.25". We've been hanging it on our Christmas tree for about 30 years. It makes a wonderful ornament and would also look great in a sunny window. Here is a huge milk glass basket with overall hobnail pattern and heavily ruffled top edge. Although there are no marks, the handle has been hand worked and applied in a manner traditionally used by Fenton and older Fenton was never marked in the glass as it is today. You can see the crimping marks (which are used decoratively) that can about when it was bent into the U shape while the glass was still hot. There are also impressed fern-like marks at each end where it was applied to the bowl section. Being hand worked, it varies in diameter and measures approximately 11.5" to 12" across at the ruffled edge. It is 9.75" high. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flakes, scratches or repairs. Purchased from an estate sale. Great for fruit, flowers, bread, etc. and makes a great centerpiece on table or sideboard also.

• Ruby hobnail is vintage Fenton with paper label with picture of glassblower which reads: Authentic Fenton Handmade. There's a hint of amberina to the coloring... a bit of golden yellowish at bottom edge and also near the top of bell just before it joins the handle. 5.5" Excellent condition.
• Amber bell has no label or maker's mark. The pattern looks like or similar to Hocking's Sandwich with swirled leaves on small hob background, larger hob borders. Tiny indented design on handle edges. 5-7/8" high. Excellent condition.

Here are 2 vintage pieces of orange glass:

• The first is a small amberina hobnail vase with ruffled rim probably made by Fenton, as this is a shape they are known for. The base is yellowish, turning to orange at the narrow end, darkening at the ruffled rim, with a finishing ribbon of yellow at the very top of the ruffle. It's 4" high x 3.5" in diameter at the rim. There are a few little spots of white calcium near the rim from the water of previous owner. I've been able to clean most of it off with no detriment to the glass. With a little persistance or some CLR you may be able to remove the rest. It's not bad at all and may not show up in the photos... but I wanted you to know since you can't see it in person. It's in very good condition otherwise with no chips or cracks.
• The second is an early American pressed glass salt with scalloped rim, indented moons surrounded by zig-zags... maybe the sun, and indented flowers or snowflakes. Flower or sunburst in base. I don't know the name of the pattern. It's 1.5" high x 2" in diameter. It's in excellent condition.

Both were purchased from the same estate sale along with other glassware listed today.

Here is a piece of Fenton satin vaseline glass that was purchased from an estate sale. It has a scalloped rim, fluted sides, impressed lattice pattern inside walls, and raised grape, leaf and tendril pattern inside bottom. Base has a starburst pattern surrounding the Fenton mark. 2.25" high x 6" diameter. This may be a candy and/or nut dish. A cluster of grapes would be beautiful served in it too. There are a few short light gray silverware marks but it's in very good condition otherwise... no chips, cracks or repairs. It glows under a black light! Beautiful hand blown art glass egg has a swirling pattern of speckles and dots in various shades of blue and aqua. It's hollow and open at the base which has been ground smooth. It's 2.5" high. This one of a kind modern art glass vase is handblown and signed by the artist near the base. I think it says T.P. or T.R. Long '91. Sides have applied green spagetti-like strands; snowy looking base was achieved by etching; rim has organic succulent-like forms with horizontal color thread striations and fumed golden luster on the inside. Modern era leaded crystal clear glass vase was made in Italy. Vertical indented ridges pick up rainbow colors in the sunlight and make neat optical illusions when looking through it. All this is on top of a layer of included silver speckling, a style of glassworking typical of artisans in the 1950's in Murano, Italy. It has no marks. Great looking hand blown art glass bowl is transparent with swirling lines of pinkish purple and floating spheres of included gold dust. 2.5" high x 7.25" x 5.5". Thick walls. Undulating rim with indents probably intended to hold a cigarette but it would make a great dish for nuts, mints, etc. with a good spot to rest a spoon. This is a style of glassworking typically made by artisans in the 1950's in Murano, Italy. It has no marks. Ground and polished base is scratched from use. From the underside you can see a group of whitish looking circles mostly floating on the inside of the glass. They appear to be interior chips or fractures. There are a couple close to the top rim that are bigger. The rim feels rough around them. There are also a few scratches on the rim. I don't know the cause of these circular fractures... maybe an instability in the glass. I had one other piece that the same thing happened to. It's still a real pretty piece.
