Here's a neat looking pair of 1950's vintage sunglasses. They are pink with gold glitter specks which have turned green on the bridge over the nose. Interior is a creamy white. 5-1/8" across eyebrow area inside hinge to hinge. Ear pieces are 5-3/8" long. Purchased from an estate sale. They are in very good condition with the one exception noted.

Cooool.... totally transparent atomic yellow lucite sunglasses in original slipcase are 1960's shades called WINDOW PANES by designer Riviera. Lucite is heavy... 3/16" thick. Eyes are completely flat, temples ever so slightly curved. Case is yellow felt sewed to clear acetate? (somewhat curled) with names (slightly worn) in gold. In very good condition. Fun to wear with your Paco Raban dress when you're visiting with Elton John and Twiggy on your Yellow Submarine :-)

Vintage pince nez sunglasses are marked near the circular ring opening: B & LC Co. They are made of a khaki green plastic (bakelite or hard rubber) connected by a piece of spring steel so they can flex, hook together, and take up very little room in a pocket. Green glass lenses. Ridged nose grippers. Circle opening for a ribbon or chain so they could be worn around neck, attached to a botton hole, held without smudging the lenses, etc. 3" wide in unfolded state. Each eye section is 1-1/16" high x 1.5" wide. One lens has a line in it (the way old window glass used to have) that occurred during the manufacturing. Spring steel shows some oxidation. In very good condition otherwise. Purchased from an estate sale about 25 years ago.

This vintage or antique pair of opera glasses (binoculars) are made of brass and ornamented with mother of pearl. Marked with a superimposed M & S and the word Cie which means Co (Company) in French (thanks to Babelfish). Unfortunately one of the eye pieces is missing which means you can only look through it with one eye as the other side won't focus. Maybe you have access to parts and know how to fix it... or maybe you have a pair that doesn't look as pretty as this one and you could combine the 2. The threaded end is still there but the lens or occular is not. The outer diameter of the place the lens would need to fit on is 3/4". Purchased from an estate sale many years ago.

Here is a pair of vintage safety glasses made by Willson. The metal frames are marked: Willson on back of the the nose bridge and the safety glass in each lens is marked with a W. They have a leather nose protector riveted to the frames and wrap around wire ear pieces covered with a flexible plastic tube. The lenses have some scratches, the left has more than the right with one 1/4" long scratch near the center. The frames have some oxidation. Bottom edge of right eye frame is very dark. They are in good condition with exceptions noted. Interior hinge to hinge width measurement is 5". The leather is still flexible. Purchased from an estate sale.

This vintage pair of green glass clip-on sunglasses was purchased from an estate sale in the hard shell hinged case accompanying them. Metal is shiny gold in color. There are no marks that I can find. They are not prescription. There are no scratches in the glass. Top connecting band is springy so there will be a little flexibility in the size glasses they will fit on. They measure 4-3/8" across center without flexing. Opening it wider would let them measure 4-5/8" across. Each eye measures 1.75" high x 1-7/8" wide. They are in excellent condition. Case is metal covered with a textured tan to brown leatherette. Interior of case is green velvety material. The case is in very good condition. Purchased from an estate sale. 12s5
