PictureAmerican Sweetheart Monax 10-5/8 Dinner Plate 1930's

This depression glass dinner plate in the American Sweetheart pattern by Macbeth-Evans Glass Company was made from 1930 through 1936. The color is called Monax which has a moonstone look... translucent white with a bluish hue. It's very pretty and looks great in sunlight. It measures 10-5/8" in diameter. There are a few "straw marks" (surface indented lines) at the edge which occurred during the manufacturing. It is in very good condition... no chips, cracks, flakes, or scratches. Purchased from an estate sale.

PictureCarnival Glass Big Basketweave Bowl Ice Bucket Marigold

This vintage carnival glass bowl is a pattern similar to Dugan's Big Basketweave pattern with thick upright stakes and 3 cross weave lines in a group together but these cross weave lines curve a bit. I've only seen 2 photos of Dugan's pattern in which the cross weave lines don't seem to curve. There is no maker's mark. 3.25" high x 7.5" diameter at rim. It's in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Purchased from an estate sale.

PictureEAPG Pedestal Fruit Bowl Optic Moons & Diamond Bands

I believe this elegant pedestaled fruit bowl is early American pattern glass although I don't know the name of the pattern. There are 2 bands of diamonds, one large and one small, and 2 bands of concave optical moons, one large and one small. Square base. 11.5" diameter at rim. 4" high. This piece was made in a 4 section mold. It's in very good undamaged condition. Purchased from an estate sale many years ago.

PictureFlorentine 2 Poppy Hazel Atlas Pitcher Depression Glass

This depression glass pitcher was made between 1932 and 1935 by Hazel Atlas in their Florentine No 2 pattern, also called Poppy No 2. It stands 7.5" high. There is a rough feeling spot at the outer point of the elbow in the handle. It coincides with the seam line at that spot. It may be a tiny flake or a rough area in the seam... I can't really be sure. It's in excellent condition otherwise... no chips, cracks or repairs. Purchased from an estate sale.

This is an original piece in one of the original colors produced by Hazel Atlas. The measurements of mold line at the spout and width of handle are consistent with the original. According to my Depression Glass book by Gene Florence book, the reproductions of this pitcher were made in red, dark green and 2 shades of pink... colors that were never made by Hazel Atlas.

PictureGreen Cherry Blossom Cake Plate Jeannette Glass 1930's

This beautiful green depression glass cake plate was made by the Jeannette Glass Company in their Cherry Blossom pattern from 1930 until 1939. It has a scalloped petal edge, 3 triangle feet that sit it up off the table top, and it's 10.25" in diameter. There are some faint surface scratches that can be seen in the unpatterned areas when held to the light. Rough spots along the mold line can be felt in a few spots along the edge of plate. This occurred from the manufacturing process. There is one tiny pin head sized flake along this line that could have occurred from manufacturing or from use. It's in very good condition. Purchased from an estate sale.

PictureHeisey Cristolite Gravy Boat & Ladle 1930 Vintage Glass

Elegant vintage Heisey Cristolite gravy boat and ladle were made during the 1930's. Gravy boat is marked with the Heisey H in a diamond. It is oval in shape and measures 7" long x 4" wide x 2-7/8" high at the handles. Ladle is 5.75" long. It has several short scratches on top of the handle where handle joins bowl. There are 2 tiny flakes on rim of ladle bowl, the farthest edge from the handle. I can feel them but have difficulty seeing them. The gravy boat is in very good condition.

PictureHEISEY Rare Pair 2 Lite ORCHID Candlesticks FLAME 1940s

Elegant pair of 2 lite candlesticks by A.H. HEISEY & CO. are etched with the Orchid pattern on the Flame blank. Orchid was produced between 1940 and 1957. 5.5" high x 5-3/8" diameter at base. One has a few light scratch lines on the underside of the base and a short rough spot along the mold line underneath the round area at the bottom of one arm which probably occurred during the manufacturing. This is hardly noticeable. I felt it first and then looked to see what it was. They are in very good condition with exceptions noted. We purchased them from an older woman who was moving. They had originally belonged to her husband's mother.

PicturePale Yellow Depression Glass Pedestal Compote

Big pedestaled depression glass compote dish is pale yellow in color. I can't identify the pattern. I have 3 books on depression glass. It isn't in any of them. The bowl came from an estate sale with many other items from that period. 4-7/8" high. Diameter of top varies from 9-1/4" to 9-7/8" because of the shaped edge. It's in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs.
